One of the statistical info from Ford Motor Co. (FN) shows how rapidly the Chinese automotive market is growing: the company opened two weeks of auto authorizations in the country.

Managing the growth of the world’s fastest growing markets in the Asia-Pacific, the main challenge Ford expressions, CEO Alan Mulally told a small group of journalists at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Fords sales have risen 40 percent in China last year, amid an increase of 33 percent for all automakers in what is now the global automotive market.

“We have great vehicles world today, Mr. Mulally said. Our job is really to increase production and meet all these vehicles as quickly as we can.”

While growth will slow this year, automakers drizzled billions of dollars of investment in China in the middle in expectation of a market growing as income increases each year.
